HYDROGENATED TETRADECENYL/METHYLPENTADECENE Synthetic silicon, which optimizes the formula and makes the skin velvety smooth. CETYL PEG/PPG-10/1 Skin conditioning ingredient, which gives a silky feel to the skin and makes the formula long lasting on the skin. DIMETHICONE Silicon-based organic polymer that prevents skin moisture loss. Like a balm for the skin. ISOCETYL PALMITATE Emollient, giving the skin a soft and smooth appearance. TITANIUM DIOXIDE Sun protection mineral. GLYCERIN Moisturizing ingredient that creates a moisture balance and helps to soften the skin. POLYGLYCERYL-4 ISOSTEARATE Plant-based emulsifier. DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE Based on the naturally occurring clay mineral hectorite. Used to optimize the consistency of the formula. SORBITAN SESQUIOLEATE Emulsifier GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE Esters of glycerin and caprylic acid, which are emollient and optimize the texture of the formula. SILICA Silicon, a naturally occurring mineral, which is absorbent. DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER Emulsifier CAPRYLYLYL GLYCOL Natural preservative that extends the shelf life of the product. HYDROGEN DIMETHICONE Prevents water loss from the skin by forming a moisturizing barrier. Fills in fine lines. SODIUM DEHYDROACETATE Prevents the growth of bacteria. TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE Binder and emulsifier (=optimizes the formula) TOCOPHERYL ACETATE Vitamin E, antioxidant that protects the skin and prevents skin aging. ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE Enhances the formula's sun protection by reflecting the sun's rays off the skin. UBIQUINONE/Q10 Very potent antioxidant that slows down skin aging. Among other things, Q10 reduces the breakdown of collagen and helps prevent sun damage ("photo-aging") to the skin. SQUALANE Squalene comes from shark liver, but we use vegetable derived from olive oil. Prevents moisture loss, provides a shield against environmental toxins and free radicals, lubricates the skin, is antibacterial and reduces wrinkles, scars and sun damage. SODIUM PHYTATE Salt form of phytic acid (from maize), used as a chelating agent (=prevents metal compounds from attaching to the skin) ORYZANOL Oil from rice bran. Slows down the skin's melanin production and prevents the development of pigmentation/sunspots. ALCOHOL Improves skin absorption of the formulation's key ingredients (penetration enhancers) and minimizes bacterial growth.
